This is a one hour recorded CHN Education Series presentation featuring Corey Martin, MD.

In today’s healthcare landscape, it is more critical than ever that we promote provider well-being to decrease provider burnout and increase provider engagement. Scientists have tied gratitude to greater health, happiness, and more joy in social relationships at home, work, and our communities. In this session, Dr. Martin offers the scientific perspective on gratitude and techniques that result in improved health, happiness and longevity.

Healthcare clinicians caring for pediatric patients and their families.

  • Recognize the association between gratitude, health and happiness  
  • Review the health effects of positivity on immune function, longevity and cardiac function  
  • Describe the science of happiness pertaining to the “three good things” gratitude tool and be able to incorporate into daily life

  • Share how to write an effective gratitude letter.
