Coagulation defects are largely responsible for the disproportional mortality caused by hemorrhage.  Tranexamic acid (TXA) and massive transfusion protocols are useful tools to combat bleeding in injured patients. This trauma internal education module focuses on coagulopathy, massive transfusion, and the use of TXA in injured pediatric patients. Our critical care liaison, Dr. Erik Mikkelsen has selected the following articles for this module. Please review the articles and answer the corresponding questions to complete the module.
