E041024 CHN Education Series: Urinary tract infections in Children: CHN Guideline for Outpatient Medical Management

Urinary tract infections are a significant concern for children, parents, and clinicians alike as one of the most common bacterial infections in pediatrics. Prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment are very important because if not managed appropriately, UTIs may result in significant morbidity due to renal scarring. This is compounded by the significant challenges presented to the clinician for accurate diagnosis. In this education, we will simplify UTI diagnosis, treatment, long term management and prevention for clinicians.

This is a one hour recorded CHN Education Series presentation featuring Steve Inman, MD; Yuri Reinberg, MD and Mary Ullman, PharmD.
